Our Horses

Currently there are sixteen individuals here, including the foals of 2005. Here follows a short presentation of the grown individuals.

Tuscha Tuscha (meaning foggy, clouded). Mare born 1994 and imported from Bashkortosan. She is "the leader of the pack", a gentle but yet firm leader. Measures 144 cm and has damed ;-) seven nice foals; Nikita, Tjudo Kahn, Karizma, Astra Kahn, Tudor Kahn, Tasha Djingisdotter and Tara Djingisdotter. She is forward-going, easy and very friendly.
Bianca Bianca. Mare born 1992, which makes her the eldest in the flock. Ever so gentle and a very comfortable ride with oh-so-smooth gaits. Thus far, mother of four, Anastasia, Temudjin Kahn, Mira Djingisdotter and Lunà Djingisdotter.
Tamara Tamara. Mare born 1994. She nearly lost her life five years later when she had a spontaneous abortion due to some fire-crackers that were thrown at her by some "pranking" youngsters. Tamara survived and has since become mother of six: Temora, Severyanka, Kasòlea Djingisdotter, Zhivoj Kahn, Rosovja Djingisdotter and an yet unnamed filly of 2005. A forward horse that likes to run. Fast.
Djingis Khan Djingis Kahn. Stallion born 1993. This handsome guy was approved for breeding in 2000 and covered 2001 for the first time mares from outside Gideć Basjkirhästar. A good father, a nice ride and ever so gentle. A true "Prince Charming"!
Kalinka Kalinka. Mare born 1993. A spirited lady who knows her own mind and one that do not mind to tell others about it. Is mother to six foals; Katitzi, Natasja, Mohi Kahn, Katia Djingisdotter, Radinka Djingisdotter and Ameri Kahn. Small when it comes to wither-height, but in no way small to ride. Was rewarded a Res BIS at a Basjkirhorse-show in 2002.
Galina Galina. Mare born 1993. She was together with Bianca the two newcomers in October 1998. She has undergone a marvellous change. From a extremely shy horse, she is today as cooperative and trusting as the others. Still a bit shy about her head, but this is also improving with time. Mother of five; Tatjaana, Sheere Kahn, Ninotscha, Nadia Djingisdotter, Maro Kahn, Meji Kahn and Lusitano Kahn.
Tatjaana Tatjaana. Mare born 1999. Unknown father as her mother was covered in Russia. Daughter of Galina and growing. Fast. She became a mother herself for the first time 2002, giving birth to a small colt, Tjaaka Kahn, the first in generation three here at Gideć BasjkirHästar. Foaled a filly in 2003, Tjitaa Djingisdotter and then one colt each year 2004 (Amir Kahn) andd 2005, unnamed yet.
Tjudo Khan Tjudo Kahn. Gelding born 2000 who is a true miracle-horse. Thus his name "Tjudo" meaning "miracle" in Russian. Friendly and always very curious. Has been put under saddle during 2004 and is developing well.
